Florence and the David Part 2

Deb and I climbed this tower that was a crazy amount of steps.....300? 400?  We thought it might be easier than the Duomo dome climb.

I guess I missed?
This is a replica of the original "David" that is now in the Accademia Museum in Florence.

Italians going about their daily business with the millions of tourist that visit Florence every year.

Deb's view at lunch.....Pretty spectacular if I do say so myself...lol.

When travelling through Italy, if you see this sign when looking for the 'toilettes' it means the washrooms are the same for men and women.  So...if you come out of your stall and there is a man washing his hand in the sink beside you...that is why.

Debbie has a better aim than me.
We so enjoyed our day in Florence.  The people watching.  Purse shopping.  Ceramic choosing.  Gelato tasting.  Pizza and Ravioli eating.
It was relaxing and we felt like we immersed in the 'feel' of Florence.  We would stay in Florence longer, another time, to really discover more of the city....with maybe less tourists.
