Life Is Worth Celebrating

What a year it has been.  So many changes and such upheavals in a life that Deb and I refer to as 'boring and simple'... with the spirit of love.  Our life is quite unconventional as far as where and how we live.  We live six months of the year at our summer campground trailer which is so incredibly peaceful and serene.  The rest of the year we housesit as much as we can.  There have been times when the housesitting plan has been not been as concrete as we need and friends have invited us into their homes.  We remain very grateful for that and them.
Feeling 'ungrounded' because we don't stay put is what Deb and I work on continually, to stay focus on our goals of eventually travelling outside of Ontario/Canada for the winter.
So with our living arrangement sorted out for the next year...God willing....we had time to surf our favourite website...www.vacationstogo.com and find an incredible deal on an Eastern Mediterranean Cruise leaving July 23rd and returning August 4th.
The Celebration Cruise will be a time for Deb and I to reconnect as a couple.  In addition, I have turned 50 this year and I decided to postponed it until we found an exceptional way to welcome it.  Deb has also retired this year and THAT is something that needs to be celebrate.  We have also recently marked our 2 year wedding anniversary as well as our 14th year together as a couple.  Love that.

This is the start of my 7th blog? I had always journaled during my trips and I do have all my journals in a wee cupboard at the trailer.  But blogging is much better.  I can save it to my computer.  Access it anytime or any year.  As well as many family and friends have commented on how much they enjoy reading them....hopefully being inspired to travel more often or find adventures themselves.
Please continue to follow my blog on this trip if you like and enjoy the pictures and my humble commentary about a huge world out there that is closer than you think.
