Mykonos, Greece Part 2

There is a little jewelry store behind the little blue door in the bottom of the windmill.  The windmills were used to generate the power to grind the grain for the ships.  The wind in Mykonos is infamous.  The gusts are incredibly strong.  It has been nicknamed the 'chair thrower' and the 'bell ringer.'

A very famous pelican in Mykonos named 'Petros'.  We are lucky to have seen him.  He is a town mascot and is huge.

The waterfront......beautiful.  It is where everything is happening.  Local children and adults fishing.  Petros is entertaining tourist.  Where you can find delicious authentic greek food.

Backgammon is a national greek game.  Everywhere people are playing this game.  On the beach, along the road ways, and in the cafes.

Bench seating at a restaurant with views of the water front.  We have decided this is a place to visit again and stay for awhile.  It is incredibly expensive but if you go in April, May, September or October the prices of hotels are almost 1/2 price....thank goodness.
